Kelp at Kingston, after rain

After a southerly the beach at Kingston is covered in kelp, and for an hour the sand is a mirror. I painted the reflections first and the kelp last, with the biggest brush I own and almost no water.

Indigo and a little rose in the wet sand; the sea is one stroke.
