Winter rain, Hampden Road window

Some weeks the estuary comes to the window instead. I painted the rain as it ran, wet paper against wet glass, and let the roofs and the harbour blur into whatever the drips decided.

The sash and sill are raw sienna; the room side of the sheet is bare.
